For Children

Programs and services especially for children.

The library has a craft program for kids, with a snack, every Wednesday.

Toddler Time is offered every Wednesday morning at 9:00a.m. This is a time for children age 18 mo.- 5 yrs. to enjoy parent & child activities geared to the little ones.

During the school year when school is out early, the Library offers a "Maker Space" with many crafts supplies and G-rated movies are shown on the "BIG screen" on special dates.

The Library summer reading program is open to all school age children and meets one afternoon a week for 6-8 weeks starting in June

Special collections available are puppets, Legos, Magna-tiles and toys.

We also have Cake Pans available for birthdays and parties.

This resource is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by State Library of Iowa.
